Description
The Silver Birch tree is known as the Lady of the Wood and a tree of Enchantment.
A beautiful slender medium-sized tree with distinctive silver bark and delicate weeping branches, the Silver Birch is one of the first to leaf in spring. Small delicate light green leaves turn a soft yellow in autumn.
Betula pendula are fully hardy and grow in sun or semi-shade, and will grow in most well-drained soils.
