Celtic Birthday Tree Calendar

The Celtic Birthday Tree Calendar links different trees to periods of the year, with each tree said to represent particular personality traits and strengths. Much like a horoscope, it's a popular way to explore your connection with nature.

Whether this is a really an ancient Celtic tradition, or a more modern creation? The idea is inspired by the ancient Ogham alphabet, an early Irish writing system dating from around the 4th century. Many Ogham letters were associated with trees, reflecting the importance of woodland in Celtic culture.

Ash Trees

The Ash tree was considered one of the great sacred trees of the Celts, representing wisdom, imagination and the connection between the earthly and spiritual worlds. It encourages curiosity, learning and an open mind.
