Trees Direct was born in 1998. The idea came to my parents, Richard and Diana, as they were sitting around the table with friends, after Sunday lunch discussing the state of the world and the environment.

We are proud to know that we were the first to set up an online company selling Trees as Gifts. Family-run, then and now, our interest and hope are that people will plant trees, always caring for the increasingly damaged environment and our endangered wildlife. But why would you want to give the gift of a tree? Well, we believe it is a special gift, as the tree grows with you throughout life. Whether it be for an anniversary or a birthday, even a memorial. We keep most of our trees and shrubs onsite here in beautiful Shropshire, while working with leading reputable (and mostly local) suppliers in the UK and Europe.

Since we first established Trees Direct, we have branched out into wholesale and are proud to have worked on many projects and charities such as The Woodland Trust, The Conservation Foundation, The Royal Institute and many Wildlife Trusts together with other regeneration, environmental, corporate and commercial ventures.

Constantly expanding, while maintaining our business on a personal level, Trees Direct specialises in sourcing and supplying trees for planting, be it one or thousands. We are confident that we have the knowledge to help, advise and guide our customers in your choice of trees or shrubs.

Our website allows you to choose which tree would be best for you based on colour, size and blossoming month. We keep most of our trees and shrubs onsite here in gorgeous Shropshire, while working with leading reputable suppliers in the UK and Europe.
