Description
The Sorbus Cashmiriana is a beautiful deciduous spreading tree with frilly green leaflets followed by soft pink flushed white flowers appearing in May giving pleasure throughout most of the year. Marvelous shiny marble-like white fruit hangs in heavy clusters in autumn often remaining on the tree after the russet red leaves have fallen. This is a delightful Rowan tree that grows up to approx 5 to 6m / 17 to 20ft with a spread of 4 to 5m /13 to 17ft for most gardens, easy to grow in fertile well-drained moist soil and sun or some partial shade. No pruning is required except for removing dead wood and a tidy-up if necessary. It will thank you for spring weed, mulch, and compost. Wildlife friendly.
