The Snow Showers Cherry is a profusely flowering dwarf weeping tree that is awash with beautiful fragrant single white flowers covering graceful pendent branches in late March. In Autumn, leaves turn bright orange, red and yellow giving much pleasure. Do not forget to feed and water your Prunus Snow Showers if you keep them in a pot. Cherries are fully hardy and need full sunshine and will grow in all but waterlogged soil. This weeping cherry blossom is a low-maintenance tree, only requiring pruning to cut out any diseased or dead wood. Prune in mid-summer if silver leaf is a problem. Snow showers do like a good weed, mulch, and compost in spring. A dwarf cultivar suitable small gardens and pots or planters on patios. Bees greatly benefit from the flowers.
Soil: Prefers well drained fertile soil. Avoid shallow chalk or very wet areas
Position: North, south, east or west

Symbolism, Folklore & Old Wives Tales: The Cherry has long been used as a Good Luck Gift. A feminine tree, its Planet is Venus and its Power is Love.
The tree is watered before being carefully packed by one of our experienced staff on site. It comes in a cardboard box lined with straw. (We try to use as much recycling material as possible) The box is addressed to the customer or a specified name and address and sent out overnight delivery to arrive on requested dates.
Please note the size of the tree that you are ordering, as our trees are provided for our clients to plant themselves, which may appear at a small size rather than the fully grown tree as shown in the photos. To find out more information, please visit our Delivery & Returns page.
