We will soon be taking orders for bare rooted trees. The advantages of bare-rooted trees is that they are quite a bit cheaper than potted ones and are normally available from November to March.

A bare-rooted tree is lifted from the ground when all its leaves have fallen in the cold months. It is sent out without soil on its roots, hence the description ‘bare-root’. We paint the roots with a protective gel, wrap and tie the tree in a bag and boxed to be sent out to arrive around the customers specified date.

Choose from packs of 5 or 10 Native Alder, Green Beech, Silver Birch, Bird Cherry, Blackthorn, Field Maple, Hawthorn, Hazel, Hornbeam, Rowan and Wild Cherry.
