Description
Magnolia Sunsation is a bushy small upright deciduous tree. With a late spring flowering of wonderful large creamy yellow petals with a deep pink tinged centre, followed by green ovate leaves.
This Magnolia Sunsation tree is a new variety, a cross between Magnolia Elizabeth and Woodsman, Sunsation prefers slightly neutral to acid fertile well-drained soil. Plant in sun or a semi-shaded position, sheltered from wind and frost. Mulch in spring to keep soil moist and water if dry especially during the early years. Do not plant in waterlogged areas as Magnolias don’t like their roots to get wet. Minimum pruning only between mid-summer and early autumn. if necessary.

Soil: Sunsations like moist, well-drained soil, Chalk, sand clay, prefers neutral to acid.
