The flowers are quite similar in appearance to cherry blossoms. This Snow White tree has a well-branched pyramidal shape giving interest all year round.

The Hoheria tree likes full sun or partial shade, South, West, or East facing in a protected area and sheltered by cold frying winds. Hoheria sexstylosa grows in moist well drained neutral to alkaline soils such as sand, loam, and chalk.
