A vigorous variety of Apple tree which produces one of the best-eating apples in Britain. These Apple trees do not like very cold areas and prefer a sheltered spot with sun in well-drained soil. So although it is slightly less tolerant of very cold or exposed conditions, it does thrive in most parts of Britain. The best time to prune is in late autumn or early winter after the leaves have fallen. Cox’s apple trees are a wonderful source of food and shelter for bees, birds, and other wildlife.
This is a good tree to plant during dormant season (November – March) which helps to ensure strong root development, making this traditional apple tree a rewarding long-term and easy self-fertile addition to gardens and orchards.

The tree is watered before being carefully packed by one of our experienced staff on site. It comes in a cardboard box lined with straw. (We try to use as much recycling material as possible) The box is addressed to the customer or a specified name and address and sent out overnight delivery to arrive on requested dates.
Please note the size of the tree that you are ordering, as our trees are provided for our clients to plant themselves, which may appear at a small size rather than the fully grown tree as shown in the photos. To find out more information, please visit our Delivery & Returns page.
