A Norway maple, Drummondii is a medium-sized deciduous tree with a rounded crown and wonderful variegated lobed leaves with a green centre and wide creamy margins turning to yellow and orange in autumn. Charming clusters of small yellow spring flowers open on bare branches in spring before the leaves appear.

Plant in moist well-drained acid to alkaline or neutral soil in sun or partial shade with a north, south, east or west aspect. This maple will tolerate pollution and some drought.

DID YOU KNOW: Lots of variegated trees can reverse? Reversion is when a branch of the tree starts to grow without variegation. In this instance, the drummondii leaf would change to pure green without the cream edge. If this happens remove these leaves or if it continues, remove small branches that have reverted.
The tree is watered before being carefully packed by one of our experienced staff on site. It comes in a cardboard box lined with straw. (We try to use as much recycling material as possible) The box is addressed to the customer or a specified name and address and sent out overnight delivery to arrive on requested dates.
Please note the size of the tree that you are ordering, as our trees are provided for our clients to plant themselves, which may appear at a small size rather than the fully grown tree as shown in the photos.
