Description
A hardy and compact tree, ideal as a specimen tree or screen, evergreen Magnolias are often seen planted close to walls of large country houses. ‘Bracken’s Brown Beauty’ thrives in full sun, will tolerate some shade, adapts to most soils and requires little maintenance once settled in.
Grandifloras can be planted in a coastal position where there is a little salt spray, an added advantage. This magnolia is fairly drought resistant once established but will require regular watering during its first few seasons. Evergreen magnolias are often seen planted close to walls of large country houses.
