DELIVERY Our trees are watered before being packed in cardboard boxes, where possible by our experienced staff on site. All orders are sent out via courier on an overnight service, though for some postcodes this is not possible. In the current climate an order can sometimes be delayed through no fault of ours, therefore we encourage customers to allow leeway when booking in gardeners or deliveries for birthdays. While we endeavour to deliver on your preferred delivery date, we may occasionally be limited on the amount that can be collected by couriers per day especially during peak periods in the year. We will contact you if delivery is delayed. When the tree arrives, open and remove it carefully from the box. If planting it immediately, follow instructions on the label attached to the tree and water well. If there is a delay in planting, leave the tree in a protected area and periodically check if tree needs water. Bare rooted tree orders will come with their own set of instructions on how to care for the trees before planting. Please note bare-rooted trees are only available from November to late March/April when the weather is cold and the trees are dormant. Once your tree is planted it will spread its roots, and will grow to give years of pleasure and help our wildlife. Please remember that the image of a full-grown tree is one that takes many years to reach. It is important to be aware that the tree you order will not be a replica of an image shown on our website. The trees obviously differ from the images shown as each tree is subtly different. The size of the trees is approximate to that stated on our website. A tree is a living being and the quality, shape and health of the tree is our priority and a better shaped healthy tree chosen might be slightly smaller than stated. If your order does not have a preferred delivery date, we will send out either the same day if before 12pm on a weekday or the next week-day. However, during peak times this may not be possible and delays may occur. Please note there is a box ‘Order Notes’ for any extra information you think we might need or where the tree can be left if no one in when delivered. In the event that we are not able to fulfil your order or we decide the tree or shrub is not up to standard, we will offer a refund to your original payment method. Or offer an alternative to the original tree. Orders for engraved plaques can take up to 3 – 5 working days. If placing an order with a plaque, please allow for this if selecting a preferred date. CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY Any order that is cancelled either wholly or partially, before being packed leaving our nurseries is guaranteed a full refund. You may cancel an order after it has been dispatched if delivery is refused or if you return the goods in the original packaging within 7 working days of your receipt of the goods. We will not be responsible for the cost of the carriage. We do recommend that you obtain tracking information in the event that an item may go missing as this will allow you to claim against the carrier. On cancellation, you acknowledge that the goods are not damaged and that you accept risk on returning the goods. We are unable to refund the carriage charge on unwanted goods. Refunds are processed once the goods arrive back with to us. Please note that the right to cancel and receive a refund will not apply if your order contains personalised goods such as engraved plaques. Where products supplied are damaged, incorrect or faulty we will either replace the item or issue a full refund within 30 days of notice. We may request goods to be returned for inspection prior to agreeing to any refund at your cost. Regular trade customers are welcome to set up net 30-day account upon completion of a credit application and subject to approval and credit limit. Future purchases for trade customers who have been granted terms have 30 days from time of order to make payment. If an order is not to be delivered within the 30-day period, the trade customer must put a deposit of 50% of the tree value in order to hold the goods. The balance must be paid within 30 days of delivery.
