Weeping Silver Birch Tree

A very beautiful small hardy deciduous tree with a dome-shaped crown of arching branches which weep to the ground as they grow. Weeping Silver Birch is known for its attractive peeling bark which lightens pink and white as it ages. Delicate soft green ovate leaves colour well in autumn. Male and female catkins are found on the same tree, opening before or with the leaves in spring.
