Scots Pine

Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) is a magnificent native evergreen tree with attractive blue-green needles and textured, orange-brown bark that becomes increasingly distinctive as the tree matures. Young trees have a neat, conical shape, gradually developing a broad and characterful crown.

A wonderful choice for larger gardens, woodland planting, screening and wildlife-friendly landscapes, Scots Pine provides year-round colour and valuable shelter for birds and other wildlife. It is hardy, resilient and grows best in a sunny position with well-drained soil, tolerating poorer and sandy ground once established.

Supplied in a pot with an established root system, allowing it to be planted throughout the year when conditions are suitable.
