A reliable and beautiful Portland shrub rose. It is a longstanding favourite, having been bred more than 160 years ago. Clear mid-pink rosettes complete with a 'button eye' in the centre. This produces the most wonderful scent, enriching any garden regardless of whether you can see the rose or not. Similar to 'Comte de Chambord', but with even more perfect flowers.
The growth is compact and erect with pretty, light green foliage.
