Red Leaf Maple 'Crimson King'

If you love a splash of rich colour in the garden, ‘Crimson King’ is a lovely choice. Its deep purple-red leaves keep their beautiful colouring throughout summer, standing out wonderfully against the greens around them.

Little yellow flowers appear in spring, while its broad canopy gradually creates a welcome patch of shade — somewhere to sit and enjoy the garden on a warm afternoon.

This is a tree to give a little room to grow. Reaching around 12–15 metres tall, with a wide, spreading crown, it is happiest in a larger garden. Plant in sun or partial shade in moist, well-drained soil, and water regularly while it settles into its new home.
