Camellia Nuccio’s Pearl

Camellia Nuccio’s Pearl is a vigorous tree with an upright growth. Exquisite formal double light pink flowers shading to white bloom in abundance through February to March. (Somewhat dependent on the weather) The petals are rounded with pointed tips and are quite lovely with the background of shiny evergreen leaves.

Fully hardy but should be planted in partial shade, (not east facing) protected from cold dry winds and early morning sun. Water plants in dry weather to prevent buds from dropping. (Do not over water) Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser in mid-spring and again in June. Top dress annually with well-rotted leaf mould or with something similar. Pruning is not necessary but if need, trim lightly after flowering.
