An old variety, dating back to the med 19th century. A repeat flowering climber bearing double blooms of a sumptuous rich deep velvety crimson maroon and a glorious heavy old rose fragrance.
A beautiful bushy rose with a pale grey green foliage which give the plant an exquisite look. Often planted as a feature on its own, in mixed borders or against a wall, pergola or obelisk.
Disease resistance, it can grow in semi shade. A somewhat lanky grower that can be pegged down or trained as a climber. Responds well to good cultivation.

The tree is watered before being carefully packed by one of our experienced staff on site. It comes in a cardboard box lined with straw. (We try to use as much recycling material as possible) The box is addressed to the customer or a specified name and address and sent out overnight delivery to arrive on requested dates.
