Early flowering, Mary Williams has an upright and bushy shape with wonderful flowers. Numerous rose-pink flowers, bloom in great abundance, sometimes as early as January on to March, with the glossy evergreen foliage, a lovely background for these Camellias.
Camellias are a glorious treat in the garden bringing great pleasure in late winter and spring. Evergreen, they are a lovely addition for any semi-shaded sheltered courtyard or garden.
These shrubs dislike lime, growing best in a neutral to acid well drained soil. Plant in a protected position away from cold and drying winds, preferably with a westerly or northerly aspect. This is to prevent the buds and flowers from being damaged in the early morning frost and or cold spells in spring. Plant where they get light shade or morning sun to protect the buds and avoid all day strong sunshine. Use ericaceous compost if the soil is not suitable or you are planting in a pot.

The tree is watered before being carefully packed by one of our experienced staff on site. It comes in a cardboard box lined with straw. (We try to use as much recycling material as possible) The box is addressed to the customer or a specified name and address and sent out overnight delivery to arrive on requested dates.
Please note the size of the tree that you are ordering, as our trees are provided for our clients to plant themselves, which may appear at a small size rather than the fully grown tree as shown in the photos. To find out more information, please visit our Delivery & Returns page.
