Hazel plants are very useful as well as being attractive and versatile. Growing up to around 8 meters, the hazel displays vivid green leaves which turn to deep gold, yellow and red colours in autumn. Hazel looks just as at home in gardens as it does in parks and woodlands, and it a common element in traditional hedgerows in Britain.
