Traditionally Apple Day was celebrated on the 21st October of each year. Plant your own orchard and help save our apple trees disappearing from our landscape. Enjoy an apple orchard or just one, the scent of the blossom, the drone of the bees, apple pie & cream, apple brandy, the fruit of the gods. Apple trees are loved by us all in Britain and are very important in helping wildlife to survive. Bees feed on the blossom and apples are food for birds and little animals such as the endangered dormouse and hedgehogs.
