A most beautiful rose of medium-size, with double creamy-white flowers with soft honey coloured centres and pink blush edged petals are produced in clusters around dark green glossy leaves, bronze when young. The roses have a slight delicate fragrance with a quantity of blooms ideal for cutting, giving much pleasure during the summer and autumn. A fairly vigorous hybrid Tea with a tidy, compact growth, repeat flowering and with a fair resistance to black spot, mildew and rust. The Silver Wedding rose is good in borders and can do well in a pot, provided it is fed and watered.
Little pruning is required and should be done while the plant is dormant. Dead head regularly throughout the flowering period helps the rose to produce more flowers.
