Ornamental or specimen trees, both evergreen and deciduous are a creation of beauty in the garden. They are generally planted to form a focal point and provide a sense of shape, texture and colour throughout the year. Decorative and beautiful they are often planted to create a statement and to give the viewer continuous pleasure over many years.
When choosing an ornamental tree, bear in mind the shape, size and style of the garden. Remember that some trees grow very slowly, some grow fast, some trees are small and some are very large. Plant with thought and care.
