• Do you ever ship to the U.S.?
I LOVE these dwarf trees and cant find them here.
Dare I ask, what would the shipping be?

    Ned

  • Many thanks for your enquiry but sadly the US Dept of agriculture forbids the importation of any live plants from here in UK.

Sorry not to be more helpful.

    Best regards
    Richard

  • Do you give a 2 year guarantee on the dwarf willow tree

    Kim Newbery

  • Dear Mrs Newbery,

We generally only do 6 month on all products, however we are fairly flexible up to a year depending on the circumstances.

    Kind Regards

  • Hi there, these trees are beautiful! Should they be planted in ericaceous or normal compost? Many thanks 🙂

    Claire

  • Just normal compost will be fine..And just to tell you, like all Willows, they are very thirsty and important to keep their roots moist

    hope this helps

  • Hi could you let me know when your likely to receive the 50-75 trees in please

    Kath Bingham

  • Hi, is the 10L (£55) tree shaped like the larger one in the picture planted in the ground? I am after a tree like this, but would like it to be a fuller shape (hope this makes sense).
    Thank you,
    Linda

  • The ones we have are younger than the picture on the website and will take a couple of years to come to look like that,

We can send you a photo of one, if you like?

    Hope this helps

  • I have long wished for a dwarf Kilmarnock Willow, and having moved to a new house with garden space, I was delighted to find Trees Direct who were outstanding in fulfilling my order and in their communication, sending my healthy tree, beautifully protected to my new home, where it looks to be well established, adding just the right amount of height variation ( allowing for growth) Thank you, Trees Direct!

    Alison Smith

  • Thank you for your kind comments!

Hope the Kilmarnock Willow thrives with you…

  • Can the 1.5m tree be grown on in a wooden half barrel 44cm deep by 68cm diameter

    Paul Toms

  • Sorry should read 68cm wide

    Paul Toms

  • Dear Mr Toms,

They would be fine in that size barrell.

  • Bought kilmarnock willow for my wife as a late Christmas present. I text Pete prior to ordering, he was very helpful, the tree could not be delivered for date I requested but Pete arranged for my wife to recieve a Christmas card in the post with my message written on it and a card telling her when the tree would be delivered (this was much appreciated)
The tree arrived on date given. It was well wrapped and protected and the tree is thriving. Wife is delighted.

  • Hi I am interested in having this tree in my front garden. Ive heard that the roots may be an issue due to spread and concerned about how they may affect the house drains. Is the kilmarnock ok to plant a few feet from my house?

    Deb

  • Many thanks for your enquiry about the roots and the Kilmarnock Willow is grown so that the roots do NOT spread, so you should be quite safe

    Hope this helps

  • Wow! I couldn’t be happier with the Willow tree I bought from Trees Direct. Excellent communication throughout and the tree was delivered on the day I specified. All packaged up well and the tree was in beautiful condition. This has been the best tree buying experience I have ever had. So much so that I am about to buy another tree from Trees Direct this very second. This time for my Mum as a nice surprise 🙂

  • How long generally does delivery take. Considering buying one for the front garden.
And is it okay to keep it in a large pot rather than the ground?

    Reace

  • Delivery is approx one week from order and fine to keep it in a pot
