The abelia grandiflora is a small shrub with dark green leaves and small pink flowers. In late spring the abelia will produce an abundance of small pink flowers, which will stay during the summer. Make sure to dehead regularly as this will increase the length of flowering. It dark green glossy leaves will stay on for a large part of the year.
It is a semi-hardy plant so you’ll need to find a sheltered spot in your garden that still receives sunlight for planting.
