The Royal Oak is the traditional symbol of England. A majestic native tree will give pleasure for generations with its lovely shaped leaves and acorns in cups beloved by faeries and children alike. A deciduous tree with soft bright green leaves from spring turning yellow in autumn. Green acorns appear in summer and turn to a golden brown in autumn. Suitable for large gardens and a slow grower; it’s a tree to last generations.
Fully hardy, grows best in sun or semi shade and deep well drained soil. Oak trees will tolerate lime soil. Oaks are the tree most associated with England.
Height and Spread at Maturity: 20+ metres x 10+m
The tree is watered before being carefully packed by one of our experienced staff on site. It comes in a cardboard box lined with straw. (We try to use as much recycling material as possible) The box is addressed to the customer or a specified name and address and sent out overnight delivery to arrive on requested dates.

Received from colleagues as a rememberance tree when my Dad passed away. Tree was bent and a bad shape( according to my husband who works on a plant nursery).

I have just read your comment about the Oak tree we delivered to you.
It is very difficult for us to understand, as we are not used to sending out misshapen trees and we only wish our customers to be happy and have a tree that thrives with them.

I bought my tree in February. Planted as instructed. Cared for with love and water… it has yet to show any signs of life. I fear it wasn’t hardy after all and did not make it through the cold of this year. Poor tree. ?
